In this document, we'll create a sequence, which can send one or more follow-up emails to a contact enrolled in this sequence, automatically.
We'll be referencing this sequence in the Creating a workflow document.
1: Select "Sequences" from the "Automation" menu.
2: Click "Create sequence".
3: You can choose a template but for this document, we'll start from scratch. Click "Create sequence" again.
4: Click the + icon to add an email template.
5: Select "Automated email" and "Create new email template".
6: Name your template and give it a subject.
7: Now for the meat of the email.
We suggest keeping it short and sweet so the email is focused on the recipient clicking the link to watch the video. Here's an example of what our email could look like.
In the email, we've used the "Personalize" option to add the first name of the recipient in the opening of the email and the link to the Windsor video.
7a: To add the link to the video, click "Personalize", search for "Windsor" and select the video campaign from Windsor.
7b: To insert the video campaign's GIF image, you can go into the Windsor dashboard, select the campaign you're using, and click "View Template".
Click the "Copy Link" button to grab the URL to the GIF.
In Hubspot, you can use this link to add the image into your email.
